Recent Coaching Assignments
  • Finance Director of large international clearing bank: working with him and his team on a major Leadership program. Program to date has involved one-on-one coaching, offsite outdoor team exercises, Emotional Intelligence profiling, and presenting Leadership theme at their conference. Program is ongoing.
  • Divisional Head of multinational pharmaceutical company, working with her to support her move to a different division of the company (Onboarding). Program is ongoing.
  • Working with private client to support him into a new CEO position with a specialist international pharmaceutical company (Onboarding). The program involves Emotional Profiling comparisons, full one-on-one coaching and unlimited telephone access.
  • Group CEO of Nordic confectionary company; working with him and his team to harmonize cultural styles and management differences across countries to produce a congruent, dynamic team to take them into the next decade. Program is ongoing.
  • Working with the UK CEO of an international materials handling company; to provide him with one-on-one coaching support and for his top management team utilizing the medium of Emotional Intelligence, one-on-one coaching and offsite team building exercises. Program is ongoing.
  • Senior Executives of an international beverages company, responsible for supporting the individual senior leadership development program and team integration.
Education & Professional Qualifications
  • Officer cadetship in BP Tanker Company (5 years study of Nautical Science).
  • Trained as Executive Coach including Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Gestalt, Emotional Intelligence, Team Change Processes, NLP, Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, executive coaching principles and practices.
  • Qualified in Emotional Intelligence profiling.
Coaching Signature

Michael’s style is direct and results-oriented. He opens the door, utilizing the principles of emotional intelligence, for his clients to gain a greater insight into their own behavior, attitudes and beliefs, thereby replacing much of the need for formal testing outside of the coaching interaction. His ability to intuitively access core obstacles preventing personal and professional growth helps him expose the key development issues standing in the way of high-performance and great leadership, thereby overcoming those challenges and maximizing potential.
